Clientpack

Also known as: x509 Credential

Clientpacks are the X.509 credentials associated with a specific Overlay Network IP address. These credentials are used by a TLS to encrypt the communication session. X.509 certificates contain a public key and an identity. This identity be associated with a machine, organization or an individual in the case of a person VPN. Certificates are either signed by a certificate authority (CA) or are self-signed.

These clientpacks are then used by TLS clients to make encrypted connections between the client and VPN concentrator. The Cohesive Networks People VPN uses OpenVPN as a TLS client to establish secure connections with your users. Clientpacks are distributed as single file and get your users securely connected in minutes.
